Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Interdiction game and website. By playing or using them, you agree to them. Please read them — they’re short.
1Who we are
Interdiction (the “Game”) and interdiction.app (the “Site”) are provided by Andrew Whaley, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@interdiction.app.
2Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Game and Site for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the Game or its assets, except where that restriction is prohibited by law. All intellectual property in the Game — its code, artwork, maps, and design — remains ours.
3In-app purchases
- The Game is free to play. An optional one-time purchase unlocks the premium opponent tiers (Major and Colonel). It is not a subscription and does not recur.
- Purchases are made and processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are also subject to their terms. We don’t process or store your payment details.
- The unlock is tied to the store account you buy it with. You can restore it on a new device via Restore Purchases in the app.
- Refunds are governed by the store’s policy (Apple / Google). Contact the relevant store for a refund; contact us if the problem is on our side and we’ll help.
- Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
4Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to circumvent purchase or entitlement checks; tamper with, attack, or overload the Site or its servers; upload unlawful or malicious content through any form or endpoint; or use the Game or Site in any way that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights.
5Fair-play data
The Game may upload anonymous records of completed matches to improve the computer opponent, as described in the privacy policy. This is optional and can be turned off in the Game. You confirm that any data you submit is your own gameplay and contains nothing you’re not entitled to share.
6Availability & changes
We provide the Game and Site “as is” and may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep everything running but don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
7Disclaimers & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game and Site are provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Game or Site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
